Hi! My name is Zoe Mader.
So glad you are here 🖤

I am a physician of functional medicine who has a burning desire to do something outside of diagnosis codes, treatment protocols, and emails. My doctorate is in chiropractic and I started out on the physical medicine side of the street, specializing in prenatal and pediatric care but after 4 years of beating my body up in such a physical job, I made the leap to full time telehealth functional medicine, now specializing in female hormones and fertility. This career path was dictated not only by the desire to do something that wasn’t so hard on me physically but also because of my own successful healing journey from PCOS.
As much as I LOVE helping other women heal their hormones through specialized lab work, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications, deep down in my heart I CRAVE creativity.
If I REALLY followed my passion, I would be ditching the white coat and switching it out for messy paints, long hours of writing novels, and thinking profound thoughts while gazing out of a window with a cup of coffee in my hand.
Ultimately, this blog is my outlet to allow for that creativity to flow while also sharing my what excites me, challenges me, intrigues me, and occasionally allows me to offer my wisdom.
Other things I adore and will likely share about in no particular order and with more detail than you asked for:
Becoming a mom (at the time of starting this blog I am 7 months pregnant with my first and could not be more excited)
My husband (who is the exact opposite of me in almost every way, yet somehow we sometimes feel like the same person)
My puppy (he is not a puppy, he is 3 years old, 100 lbs, and as hyper as they come)
All things manifestation, mindset, & creating your own reality
Human Design
Making lots of money (this one is a work in progress, but your girl has goals)
Baking sourdough bread (but type B style, not with strict rules)
My sisters (I am the oldest of 3)
Sharing about my dad (he was the ultimate human, he died suddenly in 2021)
Boundaries, especially boundaries with my mom (not the ultimate human)
Midwest life and all of the simple joys that come from living in a small town
Minimalism and decluttering (these are proclaimed hobbies, less so in execution, improving all the time)
And now, I supposed blogging should be on that list too 😎
